Introduction to Yoga – Six-Week Course
03 February, 2025
This six-week course is led by Rosy, an occupational therapist and Yoga Alliance-qualified yoga teacher. Each class consists of a sequence of accessible yoga poses (using support props such as blocks, blankets, and bolsters), along with breathing (pranayama) and meditation practice.
As the sessions include seated and lying poses on the mat, you will need to be able to get down and up from the floor unaided. Rosy offers modifications to support your comfort, so don’t worry if you feel you will not manage a full pose.
This course is for beginners who would like an introduction to yoga practice. There is the option of a 2.00pm class or 3.00pm class.
